Karina Peisajovich has recently shifted her energies from her highly acclaimed paintings on canvas to the creation of three-dimensional light and painting installations. These works, often incorporating sculptural and architectural properties, respond directly to specific environments, transforming them in a way that evokes a sense of the magical. Peisajovich earned a BFA at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredon, Buenos Aires, in 1988. She went on to study theater and continue her visual arts training through respected residency programs. She has won several notable grants and awards, including a Fulbright Commission. The artist lives and works in Buenos Aires. Her work has been shown extensively throughout Argentina, Europe and New York.
