Lives and works between Buenos Aires and Milan.
He has graduated with honors from NYU with a BA in Film and TV, he has directed various shorts which have won the Warner Borthers Award and the Martin Scorsese Post-Production Award. He has studied fine arts at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and the Art Students League in New York.
His main solo shows have been in the Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Bs As (1998); Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupery, Paris (1999); Centro Cultural Recoleta, Bs As (1999); Lo Spazio Gallery (2000) and Egizio’s Project (2002) in New York; Braga Menendez Arte Contemporaneo, Bs As (2003/05/06); Galleria Rubin, Milano (2005); NotGallery, Napoli (2006).
His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento (MART), The National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest (MNAC), Center for Contemporary Arts (KSA:K, Chisnau), The Center for Contemporary Art of Ticino (CACT, Bellinzona), The Recoleta Cultural Center (CCR, Buenos Aires), Via Farini (Milan), Foundation for the Contemporary Arts (FAC, Montevideo), The Spanish Cultural Center of Buenos Aires (CCEBA), Palazzo Delle Papesse (Siena).
Egresado de la Byam Shaw School of Art (London, 1993) y New York University (1995). Participo’ al Corso Superiore di Arti Visive della Fondazione Ratti (Como, 2004).

Vive y trabaja entre Buenos Aires y Milan.
Di origine Italo-Argentina Sebastiano Mauri ha vissuto e lavorato estensivamente tra l’Italia, New York e Buenos Aires. Si e’ laureato alla scuola di cinema della New York University e per i suoi cortometraggi ha vinto il Warner Brothers Award ed il Martin Scorsese Post-Production Award.
